Parkland was under a flash flood warning on October 17, and Local 10 reported rain close to 5 inches around the city. We take calls 24/7, dry what got wet and do the reconstruction. Call us if a ceiling or wall is still wet.
Water in the house right now?
We answer 24/7, nights and weekends too
The EPA says wet drywall, baseboards and flooring should be dried within 24 to 48 hours to prevent mold. Call us. We come look, take moisture readings and tell you what has to go.

My roof leaked during the October 17 storm. Is that a homeowners claim?
Rain that comes through a damaged roof is generally a question for your homeowners policy. Water that comes up from outside the house is a flood policy question. A few things help either way. Stop more water from getting in: have the roof opening covered or repaired. Photograph the leak, the ceiling and the roof before anything is touched. Keep the wet material until your adjuster has seen it, unless it is a hazard. Report soon: Florida's claim notice law gives you one year at most from the date of loss for a new claim. Read your policy for language about leaks that go on over a long time. We work on the inside of the house: extraction, drying and rebuild. We do not file claims. We give your adjuster photos, moisture readings and a written scope of the repair.
My ceiling is sagging after the storm. Is it about to fall?
A sagging ceiling is holding water, and it can come down. Treat it as urgent. Stay out from under it, and keep kids and pets away. If the ceiling is near a light fixture or fan, shut off the breaker for that room before you do anything else, because water and wiring do not mix. Move furniture out of the way and put a bucket under any drip. Photograph it first. Do not stand under it to poke or pull at it, since the drywall, insulation and water can drop all at once. A ceiling that holds water for days also grows stains, then mold. Our roof leak guide explains what we find above the ceiling. We answer 24/7. We take moisture readings, remove the wet drywall and insulation, dry the framing and rebuild the ceiling.
